In the period from 03 till 05 July 2007 the Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies will host the ITU Seminar “Economic aspects of national radio frequency spectrum management”, which will be organized by the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau jointly with the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau for European and CIS countries.
The main issues to be addressed during the Seminar are as follows:
- Basic aspects of radio frequency management on international and national level and spectrum economics:
- ITU activities in the field of spectrum management;
- approaches by different Administrations;
- Main tendencies in radio frequency management:
- new technologies and changing spectrum requirements;
- spectrum redeployment;
- Economics aspects of spectrum management;
- approaches and principles related to the calculation of frequency charges;
- spectrum license and usage fees;
- measure of spectrum utilization efficiency and increase of efficiency;
- Practical experience of application of economical methods for spectrum management.
The Seminar will be carried out in English and Russian languages (simultaneous translation).
